RSMSSB has started the application for the vacancy of stenographer, candidates can apply online from 26th August 2020
RSMSSB Stenographer Recruitment Application on 26th August 2020.
Rajasthan Subordinate & Ministerial Services Selection Board starts working towards recruiting eligible candidates with the help of various recruitments.
RSMSSB conducts various recruitment drives to fill the posts of Junior Engineer, lower division clerk, Patwari, Stenographer, Investigator, and so on. In August, a revised notice was released by RSMSSB stating that re-exam will be conducted for Stenographer Direct Recruitment 2018.
Due to administrative reasons, the 2018 recruitment was canceled and the Rajasthan government will again release the RSMSSB Stenographer Recruitment.
The upcoming Stenographer recruitment will be for 1087 vacancies, the earlier vacancy of 1085, and also for the increased 26 vacancies. Candidates who have passed class 12th examination and are of 18 years of age are eligible to apply for this post.

RSMSSB Stenographer Exam Fee

RSMSSB Steno Selection Process
Candidates applying for the Stenographer post will have to undergo 2 stages of selection. The first would be a written test and the next would be a skill test. The candidates will have to take a Hindi/English stenography test and typing test. Candidates qualifying the written exam will only be invited for the skill test. The eligibility criteria that have to be fulfilled by the candidates applying for the RSMSSB Steno post are mentioned below:

Maximum: 40 years

Educational Qualification
Candidates having the following educational qualification are only eligible for the Stenographer post:
Candidates who have passed senior secondary/ equivalent from a recognized board. Or
Certificate Course on Computer Concept by NIELIT, New Delhi. Or
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant / Data Preparation and Computer Software {DPCS} certificate organized under national / state council for vocational training scheme. Or
Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science / Computer application Or
Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) Course

RSMSSB Steno Exam Pattern
The written exam consists of 2 papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Paper 1 will have questions on General Science and History, art, culture, etc. of Rajasthan state and General Hindi and English. 150 questions will be asked from each section and the total duration of the exam is 6 hours.
Paper 2 will judge the skills of the candidates and for that typing tests will be conducted. The RSMSSB Steno exam pattern is given below in detail:

RSMSSB Steno Syllabus
The GK (Rajasthan) section will have questions based on the History, Geography, Tradition, Art & Culture, Heritage, etc. of the state of Rajasthan. The General Science section will have questions based on important topics of Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. The General Hindi and English section will have questions like fill in the blanks, spot the error, antonyms/synonyms, para-jumbles, etc.
