This exam is taken from pen and paper. This is a descriptive paper in which you come to write Essay, Precis, Letter, Application etc. in English or Hindi. This exam is of 100 marks, for which you are given 1 hour or 60 minutes.
There is skill test in this exam. For example, if a post has the work of computer or data operator, then for that you have to give typing test which is only 15 minutes. Shorthand test is also done in any post.
